I am surprisingly intrigued with this, only because a knife can do the exact same thing. I am always amazed at the random, but handy-dandy stuff OXO comes up with. ooOOoooh kinky! I thought I'd share my find... Calgary Herald Q: Young Mayor way candidate out of his depth. Jeremy Zhao, a 19-year old chemical engineering and political science student at the University of Calgary, has thrown his name into the hat for one of the more notable positions available in Calgary this year. Not only do I think he is way out of his league, but he has his whole life ahead of him to do things such as run a city of a million. And besides, he looks way too sweet and innocent to duke it out with some pompous big-wigs at oil companies fighting over where they can build their next skyscraper. Update: ooOOooh - a rebuttal!
10 more days of work: 14 sleeps til new hotness. Getting pretty stoked about my big move over to the Roundup Centre. This new gig is like winning first prize for spending the past couple of months looking. How exciting that I ended up in a role that I had hoped that someday, yes, someday, I would be qualified enough to do. Woot!Until the 9th though, I am crazy hectic trying to get everything organized. I knew the conference was a big beast of an event but when you try to sum it up in 2 short weeks, it's a little on the daunting side. I hardly even have time for Perez. Thank God for alcoholic bevvies.
This made me chuckle. Super fun, super exciting, super scary news. As of October 9, I am moving on over to the Roundup Centre as an Events Coordinator with the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede. Pretty sad to leave my conference after 4 years, but am super stoked to see what lies ahead of me. Rumour has it I'll be planning things like weddings (eeek!), trade shows, conferences, galas, banquets, etc. How much fun is that?!
Megan vs. the Spider. Guess who won?
Just another day on the greens... Second hole... getting the hang of it... kinda. He's a pro. I could use some putting practice... although I could be worse. I like to consider this my "yay it went in the hole" stance. Looks like I'm playing baseball more than golf. 10 holes later, only 2 balls lost. Woot! |
