Look ma - it's snowing.

Dinner is always an entertaining time on Sunday nights with my family. Suddenly, my parents aren't just parents, but more so just one of the gang. We sit around the table, eating drinking and mingling for a solid two hours before one of us moves, usually to get more food. It's never a dull moment.

After dropping off Scott tonite I had the pleasure of driving in a blizzard like state down Macleod Trail. I've been surprised how well my car has done in the snow since the tires are crap. I think I'm either too lazy or too cheap to buy new tires. Or maybe secretly I am hoping someone will either steal my car or run into it therefore writing it off so I can get rid of it. The payments are killing me.

While laying in bed this morning I couldn't stop thinking about how great it would be to have my own place. A place I can decorate, walk around naked in, cook in, hang out in. I wouldn't want a basement suite in some shady apartment or person's house. I wouldn't want it to be in a shady neighborhood where I was afraid to go outside in, and I definitely wouldn't want to hear the pitter patter of little mice or other such rodents between the walls. Unfortunately though, those are looking like my options. Until I get rid of Alister, I am stuck with ridiculously high payments and therefore wouldn't be able to afford the condo I have dreamt of purchasing for the past couple of years.

If anyone has an extra $20k kicking around, I'll even kick in the floormats.

I have been asked to expand on my abortion piece which I did for the Herald Blog last week. I'm not sure as to how to tackle it as either way - someone will be pissed off and call me a murderer for my stance on it or they will send mean letters to the Editor. I like to think that everyone is entitled to their own opinion... so why can't I share mine?

Today is when I woke up.

What happens when you wake up one day and realize you're 23 years old, still living with your parents, your pants are a little more snug than you remember them being, and you're still not making any headway with your savings? Cry a little. It helps. Kinda.

I don't think there are any cooler shirts out there. I'm such a loser.

All I can do is shake my head.

Sure, they're not terrorists are they? This is a great example of why some people believe what they do about the 'noble' religion called Islam. I realize not all people who follow Islam believe this but those extremists sure give a bad name to everyone.

Calgary Herald Q.

Canadian women deserve uninhibited choice.

Former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau said "the state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation". If given the chance to update that quote, I would say "the state, including government, media, and outsiders not involved directly with the affair, have no business in the bedrooms of the nation".

Every once in a while this debate pops its ugly controversial head in the papers and each Jane, Dick and Harry who composes a letter to the Editor seems to have a better reason than the other for why women shouldn't have the choice and should be dictated to.

It's really too bad that people need to offer their comments to situations they have no business being involved with.

Canadian women who end up pregnant unintentionally whether it's because of being raped, a partner in a one-night stand gone wrong, a sour relationship, or are victim to the contraceptive failing, have a right to either continue on with the fetus and take it to term, or terminate it.

Whichever decision she goes through with, she should not have to answer to politicians, random people on the street, criminal law or media. Her body shouldn't be used as an example of what not to do, a political platform for the next guy running in the election or be objectified on some activist's poster.

Canada is one of a few countries in the world with no laws limiting abortion. Canada is also known as one of the freest places in the world in terms of a lack of obstacles stopping a woman from going through with her choice therefore giving women the option to do what they want.

Her body should not be up for discussion in the public eye when it comes down to pro-life or pro-choice opinions. Her choice is her choice.

Let it be known that whichever choice the woman goes through however, it will leave an imprint in her mind for the rest of her life.

Fuck. It's done.

It took me less than a day to read her 291-page book and I am now soooOOOOOoo choked that it's done. What am I suppose to do now? I was hoping to just keep reading it during my lunch-hours at work as I escaped the reality around me that is my sometimes mundane life. Well fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.

Happy to report, in case anyone cared, that I read Jessica's book. And even more exciting, it is the first book to be added to my bookcase which has been read while the other ones are just sitting there collecting dust. Ok so maybe if you really know me, you'll know how much of an epic night this is - I mean - I finished a book. Wahoo!

Ok so I'm by no means saying this book should be an award-winning book, but c'mon. It's hot. She is such a slut and so feisty and selfish and fucking unbelievably entertaining to read about. The fun part, is that this chick is real. This is like memoir - kinda - just with the names altered and stuff. When I read the last sentence I thought to myself, "being her for one day would be a hoot". Well, minus all the STD's I'm sure she has...

And if you're curious, it all started here...

My new favorite on-line lady.

If you have a couple minutes to spare, read about Jessica.

I found her today while randomly searching around websites being a dork, and had to rush out to buy her book. The story of her life as a mail girl for a US Senator and her sexual encounters with more than her fair share of men on the oh-so famous Washington Capitol Hill is intriguing, hot, and gutsy. Just thought I would share her with you.

God I wish I had boobs like hers...

Noble my ass.

Once upon a time I heard this religion was "noble". Rrrrrrright. This is noble?

A little freedom of speech and it pisses the wrong guys off. Oh, but not a problem when it comes to them making fun of other religions - but fuck you if you make a comment about theirs. What kind of fucked up world is this?
