So stunned I don't even know what to call this.

Using state data and other sources, the newspaper documents the killings of 1,367 pregnant women and new mothers since 1990. It said there were undoubtedly more deaths, and that 13 states said they had no way of knowing how many such deaths occurred."

That is beyond messed up. Of course knowing how messed up the American Justice system is, that whackjob will probably only see a few years in jail.

Hey, we Canadians are told we're PROUD of our having a legal system instead of a justice system. Apparently you're not watching enough CBC. If you were, you'd know it's good to not punish evil, because 'evil' is just another expression of diversity. She was just redefinining motherhood and not confining herself to the traditional definition.
