I have been offered a new chance at the Calgary Herald. This time writing car reviews. I know, you are all thinking "what the heck does Megan know about cars?" Good observation my fine friends. And that is why I am asking you to do it.
If you are interested, fill in these questions and email them to me at meganepratt@mac.com along with a photo of you and your car. Each review will be printed in the Friday Driving section of the Calgary Herald. I definitely encourage you guys to take part in this.

What kind of car do you drive?
What was your first car?
What was your worst car?
What would be your daily driving choice if you were looking at all-around convenience?
If money were no object . . .
What do you think your car says about you?
What would one find in the backseat of your car?
Would you recommend your car to anyone?
Would you buy another one?
Rick Praski 32years Heavy Truck Sales I drive a 2004 Basic Chevy Cavalier with a manual transmission and CD player.
My first car was a 1986 Chrysler "K" car
1st Worst car was a cheaply built shitty little uncomfortable duct taped together underpowered windshield cracked always something breaking, bad for self esteem when people saw me driving it Suzuki swift. I don't think I'll ever buy another Suzuki again...
2nd Worst car was a 1980 loaded BMW 325i Deno edition sports package coupe, only because the engine blew after my 1st week of ownership. It was a dream to drive, lots of fun and made me feel cool but lots of headaches when I needed something reliable.
3rd Worst car because it made me push the limits of my driving abilities was a brand new 1995 loaded sports package Gold edition Chevy cavalier that I got up to 185KMS on several occasions and only because that car hit 4 deer, and was involved in 6 other accidents (about $35,000 in insurance damages) - the last 1 was a flip and roll at 120kms which ended up a write off which almost killed me but left some cool scars, oh yah and that car got me about 25 speeding tickets ($3765 dollars worth in tickets) and made me loose my license for a year. I should qualify that; I was the worst driver with that car and did many stupid thing with it. Too Much car, Too little experience, Too over ambitious and zealous a driver..
4th Worst car in terms of headaches was an Oldsmobile Ninety Eight 4 door loaded sedan, seat warmer, butt scratcher, would tell me the temperature of my big toe if I needed to know, ended up with blown transmission and rear end after 2 weeks ownership. Great car to drive it was just all the hassles with fixing it, too much stress.
Daily driving choice would be and is my Chevy cavalier, Excellent on fuel, still fun to drive and feel good being in it.
If money were no object I'd buy an H2 Hummer. Yehaa! Bring on the apocalypse, Wohoooo!!
My car says that I am cool, spunky and fun, yet economically responsible. I fill it up for at $37.00 and get 700kms out of a tank "in the city" and have fun doing it. Biggest bang for the buck...
You will always find empty pop cans, windshield scraper, paper work from my job, a blanket, windshield washer fluid, favorite books, flashlight, gum and candy wrappers, several sun glasses and hats , pens, spare jeans, 1 long sleeve and short sleeve shirt, and lots of dust...
I would recommend my car to every one. Its reliable, easy to maintain, cheap to fix, with thousands of these things on the road parts are widely available. It has a touch of subdued edgy class. It is a blast to drive (I have a standard) It is financially and economically responsible and I would buy one every day of the week, time and time again...
I am now a responsible driver who understands that my driving is a privliage and not a right. I now comply with the rules and regulations of the road. I am now keenly aware of my responsibility to other drivers. I have been ticket free, and haven't caused an accident in 5 years.
I enjoy driving and still have fun but its all within the limits of safety and being resposible on the road.
